Hi, I’m Carlos David
I’m a portrait photographer in New York City. I work with professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs who need headshots that actually feel like them.
I came to photography sideways—through literature, theater, and a lot of trial and error shooting nightlife and fashion in the early days. Eventually I found myself building art projects, directing documentary interviews (including sitting down with people like Lin-Manuel Miranda for the Smithsonian), and learning what I’m apparently good at: making people feel comfortable in front of a camera.
That’s really what this is about. You show up, I guide you through everything, and we get you images that work. Simple as that.
